Ty joined the firm in April 2012. A lifelong Kansas resident, Ty was born in Topeka and grew up in Butler County, Kansas. He earned his Bachelor of Science in History cum laude from Emporia State University in May 2009 and obtained his Juris Doctorate cum laude from Washburn University School of Law in December 2011. While in law school, Ty was a published staff member of the Washburn Law Journal and a member of the Washburn Trial Advocacy Team.
Ty is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, Topeka Bar Association, Topeka Area Bankruptcy Council, and the Sam A. Crow American Inn of Court.
Ty lives in Topeka with his wife Chelsea, who is a School Psychologist for Topeka Public Schools.
