Erin was born in Lawrence, Kansas and earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Welfare from the University of Kansas, graduating with distinction (May 2007). After completing her undergraduate degree, Erin attended Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa, where she received her Juris Doctorate and graduated with high honors (May 2010). While in law school, Erin was member of the Drake Law Review and received multiple American Jurisprudence Awards for outstanding academic performance.
Erin is a member of the Topeka, Douglas County, and Kansas Bar Associations, the Topeka Area Bankruptcy Council, and the Judge Hugh Means Inn of Court.
Currently Erin resides in Lawrence with her husband, Victor, who is a Kansas native and a high school science teacher. In Erin's spare time, she enjoys being with family and friends, as well as going hiking, camping, and out for runs.
